FAQs

ORDERING

What is your turnaround time?

Our standard turnaround time is 7 to 10 days, but this can vary depending on our workload, the quantity of your order, your design, and the availability of the garments. Most of the time, we are able to complete the order earlier than 10 days.
If you need your order to be completed before our standard turnaround time, we may charge a rush fee. Our rush fee depends on how fast you would like your order to be completed.

When does the turnaround time begin?

The 10-day turnaround begins as soon as we receive approval of the mock-up. If there are any changes to the approved mock-up, or if the suppliers do not have your garments in stock, there may be a delay.

The garment I want is out of stock. What do I do?

Luckily, we have a lot of alternatives provided by our suppliers. You may opt for an alternative for us to be able to finish your order within the standard turnaround time, or you can choose to wait until we have your originally desired garment in stock.  Please keep in mind that we may encounter issues with inventory from time to time, especially during the busy seasons. This is out of our hands. If this happens, we will notify you within the day of order confirmation.

How can I get you my artwork?

You can email the file to info@hellatees.com.

Can I bring in my own garments?
You may bring in your own garments for screen printing and embroidery orders. Customer-provided garments are highly discouraged for DTG printing. Because our printers are very particular with the garment's material, it is best to have us supply the garments for you instead.

Can I mix different types of garments in my order (shirts, sweaters, tank tops)?

Absolutely! We offer almost all styles of garments. There are a couple of options on garment colors too. Please note that not all types of garments are suitable for DTG printing.

Will the cost go down if I order more shirts?

Yes. The cost is definitely cheaper for bulk orders. A bulk order is 10 units or more. Any order with a quantity of less than 10 would be considered a retail order. For screen printing, the minimum quantity is 24 units.

Are colored garments more expensive?

Yes. Colored garments are more expensive because of the under base required to make the colors more vibrant on the garment.

What if I reorder? Will I be paying less?

Unfortunately, there are no discounts for reorders.

PRINTING

Do you offer digital t-shirt printing?

Yes. In fact, digital t-shirt printing (or direct-to-garment printing) is a service we specialize on. Not a lot of custom shirt companies offer this service. For more information on DTG, check out this article.

How many colors can you screen print?

For screen printing, we can do a maximum of 10 colors.

What is an under base?

An under base is basically white ink printed prior the actual colors on the artwork. It's essential when printing on colored garments because it maintains the artwork’s colors on its full opacity.

Do you do athletic number or lettering?

Yes. For athletic number or lettering, we use vinyl.

I want my artwork to appear big on the garment. Will there be an additional cost for this?

For DTG printing, our standard print area is 10"x10". We can absolutely go bigger, but there may be additional fees. For screen printing, print areas can generally go as big as 12"x16".
